We happily welcome new members! WMA is the premier organization dedicated to the strategic management field. We welcome any individual who is active in strategic management-- including academic scholars and teachers as well as business practitioners and consultants-- to join us!
SMS helps its members advance their careers, grow their professional networks, promote their research, stay up-to-date on new developments in the field, and make lasting contributions that actively shape the future of strategic management scholarship and practice.
The Society offers multiple exciting member engagement webinar series, regular international conferences, three outstanding scholarly journals, Interest Group & Communities activities and networking, an Awards & Honors program to recognize excellence, and much more! SMS was instrumental in forming the field of Strategic Management and continues to service and provide a home for professionals involved in this area. We would love your help! Please complete
the volunteer sign-up form and we will try to accommodate your preferences!
Please note that most of the volunteer roles will take place onsite at conference. Other roles may require presence at association headquarters or possibly remotely, depending on the time you volunteer and your preference on role.

WMA offers sponsors and co-sponsors opportunities for over 43 conferences and workshops. The Conference VP and Directors manage our
portfolio and oversees the addition of new events. If you would like to
